First Troy University College of Education Veterans Celebration

The Troy University College of Education (COE) in partnership with TROY for Troops hosted the first COE Veterans Celebration on November 9th, 2017 at the HAL Hall of Honor.

The presentation speaker was Dr. David Dyson, Founder of Patriotism in Action. Each participant received a handout (PDF) that can be used in classrooms and civic events.

The featured Veteran speaker was Dr. Jack Hawkins Jr., Chancellor of Troy University. Following the speakers, there was a brief patriotic ceremony. We invite you to celebrate our Veterans and the founding of Veterans Day by WWII Veteran Raymond Weeks from Birmingham, Alabama in 1947.
